About the Project
Set against the backdrop of Algonquin College, this project is an intentional exploration, seeking to unveil the remarkable features embedded in each building.
From the modern lines of contemporary structures to the timeless elegance of traditional architecture, every frame is a testament to the unique character woven into the fabric of the campus.
Equipment and Software
Sony 6400. Sigma 16 mm f/1.4. Edited with Adobe Lightroom.
Post-production
To edit the photos I used Adobe Lightroom. One essential feature was the Transform Panel, as it allowed me to straighten the lines of the different buildings to capture them as close as possible to reality.
Another important tool was the lens correction panel. This was essential because of the use of the Sigma 16 mm lens, which is a wide lens that can create distortion.
Conclusion
This project served as a valuable learning experience, refining my skills in architecture photography. The challenges and joys encountered during this exploration have contributed to my evolving approach and appreciation for capturing the built environment.
